Privacy policy

This policy explains what Venerabull LLC collects, why, and what you can ask us to do about it. It is written to be read rather than to be survived.

What we collect

• What you give us. Name, delivery and billing address, email address, telephone number, and anything you tell us about your site, your room or your project when you ask us a question.
• Order information. What you bought, when, the delivery arrangements, and correspondence about it.
• Payment information. Handled by our payment processor. Card numbers are entered on their systems, not ours, and we never see or store a full card number.
• Technical information. IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed, and how you arrived. Collected through cookies and similar technologies.
• Questions asked of our assistant. Questions typed into the assistant on this site are recorded, along with whether she was able to answer them. We do this to find out what she does not yet know. Do not type payment details, passwords or anything sensitive into her — she does not need them and has no use for them.

Why we collect it

To take and fulfil orders, arrange freight, answer questions, handle returns and claims, prevent fraud, meet tax and legal obligations, and improve the site and the assistant. We use it for those things and not for others.

Who we share it with

Only with parties who need it to do one of the jobs above:

• Our commerce and payments providers, which host this store and process payments.
• Suppliers and manufacturers, which receive the delivery information required to ship your order.
• Freight carriers, which receive the delivery information required to schedule and complete delivery.
• Our email and analytics providers.
• Our hosting and language-model providers, which run the assistant. Your question is passed to them to be answered.
• Professional advisers and authorities, where the law requires it.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising.

Cookies

The site uses cookies that are necessary for it to work — keeping your cart, keeping you signed in, security — and analytics cookies that tell us how the site is used. Your browser can block or delete cookies; the necessary ones being blocked will break parts of the site.

How long we keep it

Order and transaction records are kept as long as tax and accounting law requires. Correspondence is kept while it is useful for supporting you. Assistant questions are kept for up to one year and then deleted.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to ask us for a copy of the personal information we hold about you, to correct it, to delete it, to limit how we use it, and to be free from discrimination for asking. To make a request, write to support@venerabull.com from the address on your order, or call 1 (800) 982-7007. We will verify who you are before we act, and we will respond within the time the law allows.

Children

This site is not directed to children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their personal information. If you believe a child has given us information, tell us and we will delete it.

Security

We take reasonable measures to protect personal information, including limiting who can access it. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we will not claim otherwise.

Changes

If we change this policy we will post the revised version here with a new date. Material changes will be brought to your attention rather than buried.
